<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that notifies a user of a batch execution function of printing and transmission at an appropriate timing on the basis of the state of use by the user so as to effectively provide an opportunity to use the batch execution function to a user not familiar with the operation of the image forming apparatus, and thereby improve the efficiency of work.SOLUTION: When an operation unit of an image forming apparatus receives a command to print or transmit image data, if a control unit determines that image data corresponding to a document is identical to image data held in a history information holding unit, causes a notification unit to notify a user of a message that the transmission and printing of the image data can be executed in a batch.</p> |
