PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange ventilator for exerting control to prevent reduction in air volume even if a filter is clogged up, by means of a method simple and appropriate for an actual usage state while suppressing cost.SOLUTION: A heat exchange ventilator includes: an intake air blower forming an intake air flow to an indoor space from an outdoor space; an exhaust air blower forming an exhaust air flow to the outdoor space from the indoor space; a heat exchanger implementing heat exchange between the intake air flow and the exhaust air flow; a filter capturing dust contained in the intake air flow or the exhaust air flow; a storage unit that stores therein a notch index set in response to the magnitude of output to the intake air blower and the exhaust air blower for each of notches formed into a plurality of stages, operating time per notch, and a contamination index set in response to the degree of contamination of the air; and a control unit controlling the output of at least one of the intake air blower and the exhaust air blower depending on an actually treated, total air volume value obtained by multiplication of the notch index, the operating time, and the contamination index. |
