<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain assist power charged in EDLC for a heavy load time requiring power assist.SOLUTION: A solar cell system (10) for supplying power to a power conversion device (210) which supplies AC power to a load includes: a solar cell unit (12); an electric double layer capacitor (16) charged from the solar cell unit (12); a step-up unit (14) for stepping up DC power supplied from the solar cell unit (12) and the electric double layer capacitor (16) to supply to a DC link unit (212) of the power conversion device (210); and a switch unit (17). The switch unit (17) performs switchover whether or not to charge from the solar cell unit (12) to the electric double layer capacitor (16) and switchover whether or not to discharge from the electric double layer capacitor (16) to the step-up unit (14).</p> |
