Embodiments of the present invention provide a signal transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: modulating part of pilot information carried by at least one signaling symbol in a signaling domain of a data packet by using a mode of rotating phase-shift keying (PSK) of a first angle, so as to obtain modulated pilot information; and sending the data packet carrying the modulated pilot information to a reception end. In the embodiments of the present invention, because pilot information carried by a signaling symbol in a signaling domain of a data packet is modulated by using a modulation mode different from a conventional modulation mode, a data packet format corresponding to the modulation mode can be effectively modulated on a reception end.
