PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a gamma conversion process at a high speed which accompanies gamma curve correction in data transfer.SOLUTION: In a printer controller 4 of an image formation device, under control of CPU 31, a print data access control part 35 encodes bit map data stored in RAM 34, and performs serial transfer to an image processing part 36 through a high speed serial I/F39. The image processing part 36 decodes the bit map data that has been sent after encoding by using a conversion table which incorporates decoding information and gamma conversion information. The CPU 31 rewrites the gamma conversion information of a conversion table Tb2.
