PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which when electric power is not supplied from the external in an event of shutdown of a fuel cell due to blackout, abnormal temperature rise of equipment, and so on, a cooling process is damaged, thereby causing a fatal damage in a fuel cell stack.SOLUTION: A power control unit can connect a plurality of dispersed electric power sources each having a fuel cell and a storage battery. The power control unit includes a plurality of power supply units to which the respective dispersed electric power sources are connected and which can supply electric power, and a control unit which determines whether or not the power control unit is paralleled off from a system and whether or not the fuel cell is in shutdown. When the control unit determines that the power control unit is paralleled off from the system and that the fuel cell is in shutdown, the control unit carries out stop processing in which at least either one of one of the power supply units which does not supply electric power to the fuel cell and a load connected to the power control unit is stopped. |
