IMAGE ENCRYPTING SYSTEM FOR OUTPUTTING ENCRYPTED IMAGES SUBJECTED TO SMEARING PROCESSING OF INTENSITY ACCORDING TO AUTHORIZED BROWSING PERSON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable image browsing while keeping privacy by encrypting and storing images captured by a monitor camera and by displaying the images subjected to smearing processing on the decrypted image according to browsing persons.SOLUTION: An image is encrypted by exclusive software and a single key is prepared to decrypt the encrypted image. Decryption software uses the key to display the images subjected to smearing processing such as mosaic processing of predetermined intensity. A browsing person is allowed to browse only the images subjected to the smearing processing of defined intensity by distributing software available for the browsing person depending upon degree where the browsing person can browse the captured images. Or, different image browsing keys are distributed to each person who can encrypt and browse the image by using the exclusive software, and decryption software is distributed to the persons. The decryption software displays the images subjected to the smearing processing of intensity according to content of the image browsing keys.
