<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase accuracy of position information derived by communication with a beacon module.SOLUTION: The positioning system includes a plurality of beacon modules and a portable terminal 110. The portable terminal 110 includes: an operation state determination unit 221 which calculates operation state data for determining an operation state of a user carrying the portable terminal 110; a beacon search unit 222 which selectively searches a beacon module corresponding to the operation state of the user determined on the basis of the operation state data calculated by the operation state determination unit 221; and a position information derivation unit 223 which, on the basis of a response signal transmitted from the beacon module searched by the beacon search unit 222, derives position information on the user.</p> |
