PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator capable of suppressing a displacement of an insulation member along an inner wall surface of a slot.SOLUTION: An insulation member 47 is formed in an annular shape so that both end parts 47a of the insulation member 47 faces each other viewed from an axial direction of a stator core 21, and includes a closing part 47c that closes a radial direction opening part Sc that opens in a radial direction tip side of teeth 24 of a slot S. On an inner wall surface of the slot S, a housing recess 26 into which both of the end parts 47a of the insulation member 47 are inserted is provided. Both of the end parts 47a of the insulation member 47 are engaged in an annular direction of the insulation member 47 with respect to the housing recess 26.
