1. A method for inhibiting metastasizing cancer tumor growth in a human being,
comprising administering a compound to the human being in need thereof, wherein said compound comprises:
a peptide comprising at least the amino acid sequence X1-R-W-H-X5 with X1 being selected from the group comprising A, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, V, W, or Y and X5 being selected from the group comprising A, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, V, W, or Y (SEQ ID No.: 1), or a peptidomimetic thereof, ora peptide comprising at least 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, or 14 amino acids of amino acid sequence X1-X2-X3-X4-X5-X6-X7-R-W-H-X11-X12-X13-X14, wherein X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, X11, X12, X13, or X14 is selected from the group comprising A, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, V, W, or Y (SEQ ID No.: 7), and wherein the peptide comprises at least X7-R-W-H-X11 of SEQ ID No.: 7, wherein X7, and X11 is selected from the group comprising A, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, V, W, or Y, or a peptidomimetic thereof. |
