PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for implementing facsimile manual transmission by suitably using one SLIC between two digital modems, in environment where multi-session including deemed voice transmission in an IP network is possible.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: a SLIC for controlling an analog telephone unit; a plurality of modems for controlling facsimile communication using deemed voice; a plurality of PCMI/Fs for inputting/outputting encoded voice data; and a plurality of selectors for connecting any of the SLIC and the plurality of modems with any of the plurality of PCMI/Fs. The plurality of selectors are controlled according to requested processing so as to connect any of the SLIC and the plurality of modems with any of the plurality of PCMI/Fs, to execute the processing. |
