PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel luminescent material comprising aluminum complex containing fluorine-substituted dibenzoylmethanide as ligands and whose emission wavelength can be controlled by selecting the position and number of fluorine substitution, and an organic EL element.SOLUTION: Provided is a luminescent material comprising an aluminum complex. The aluminum complex is based on dibenzoylmethane (DBM) as a main skeleton and contains as ligands dibenzoylmethanide, whose arbitrary number of hydrogen atoms are substituted with fluorine atoms. In the aluminum complex, fine adjustment of emission wavelength is possible by selecting the position and number of fluorine substitution in the dibenzoylmethanide ligand. |
