摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass forming alloy.SOLUTION: The glass forming alloy contains 43.0 atom% to 68.0 atom% of iron, 10.0 atom% to 19.0 atom% of boron, 13.0 atom% to 17.0 atom% of nickel, 2.5 atom% to 21.0 atom% of cobalt, optionally 0.1 atom% to 6.0 atom% of carbon, and optionally 0.3 atom% to 3.5 atom% of silicon. Furthermore, the glass forming alloy contains between 5 vol% and 95 vol% of one or more spinodal glass matrix microconstituents which include one or more semi-crystalline and/or crystalline phases at a length scale less than 50 nm in a glass matrix. In addition, the glass forming alloy is capable of blunting shear bands through localized deformation-induced changes under tension.
