LAMP BODY DEVICE FOR REAR PART OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp body device for a rear part of a vehicle which ventilates the interior and the exterior of the lamp body and reduces influences of air conditioned air flowing in a vehicle cabin.SOLUTION: An upper part 32 of a housing 31 has a recessed part 35c which is positioned higher than a reflector 35b and slightly recessed to the vehicle front side. A vent hole 45 for ventilating the interior and the exterior of the housing 31 is formed in the recessed part 35c. The vent hole 45 is formed into a rectangle shape elongated horizontally and is positioned at an uppermost part of a seal line part 48. A width of a gasket 51 is larger than a width of a rib 48. The gasket 51 is suspended from the rib 48 near the vent hole 45. Thus, the vent hole 45 is positioned on a rear surface of the gasket 51 when viewed from the inner side (a vehicle cabin 12) of a vehicle 10. Consequently, a labyrinth ventilation passage 52 is formed from the vent hole 45 to the inner side (the vehicle cabin 12) of the vehicle 10.
