<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage between openings and to prevent decrease in an opening rate while maintaining display uniformity in a liquid crystal display device having a plurality of openings.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate and a second substrate disposed facing each other; a first electrode having a plurality of first openings 18 and disposed on one surface side of the first substrate; a second electrode having a plurality of second openings 19 and disposed on one surface side of the second substrate; and a liquid crystal layer disposed between each one surface of the first substrate and the second substrate. The plurality of first openings each has a longitudinal length larger than a longitudinal length of each second opening in a plan view, and the plurality of second openings includes a recessed part on at least one of edges along the longitudinal direction in a plan view.</p> |
