<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound that is used as a positive hole transporting material capable of producing a positive hole transporting layer having a large band-gap energy and excellent electrical and thermal stability.SOLUTION: The compound includes a diaminobiphenyl group disposed between two dibenzofurans represented by formula (1-1). [Two As which are the same, are O or S; Xa and Xb are each independently H or (a) to (c); provided that when either one is H, the other is other than H; Ya and Yb are each independently (d); (a) is a substituted or unsubstituted, linear or cyclic alkyl or alkoxy group; (b) and (d) are a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heteroaryl group; and (c) is a halogen group, an amino group, a nitro group or a cyano group].</p> |
