<p>An opening and closing device comprises a static element (12), a moving element (11) provided to be movable relative to the static element (12) along a direction in which a fixed electrode (2) and a moving electrode (3) face each other, a permanent magnet (14) provided on a side where the static element (12) and the moving element (11) are facing each other, a driving coil (15) capable of applying onto the moving element (11) an electromagnetic force along the aforementioned direction, and a retention assisting coil (13) for generating a magnetic flux inside the static element (12) and the moving element (11). In the energized state, the relative positional relationship between the moving element (11) and the static element (12) is maintained by a force acting on the moving element (11) through a magnetic flux generated by the permanent magnet (14) and a magnetic flux generated by the retention assisting coil (13), which is electrified.</p> |
