PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which the communication quality cannot be sufficiently improved only by the correction of transmission/reception signals which is performed by a conventional semiconductor device.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a semiconductor and a serial data transmission line system have a reception circuit and an adaptive equalizer circuit; and, if the correction strength of a correction value which is calculated by the adaptive equalizer circuit is equal to or greater than a threshold value, switches a supply source of power that is to be supplied to the reception circuit and adaptive equalizer circuit, thereby reducing a noise level of the power supply. |
