<p>The present invention relates to a bookstand wherein a pressing pin to press a page of a book is mounted on a bottom plate on which the book is supported to prevent a page from turning unintentionally. The bookstand comprises: a bottom plate to support a book; a support plate mounted on the bottom plate to support the book; and an adjustment member connected to the support plate to adjust an angle at which the book is fixated. The bookstand further comprises: a mounting recess formed on both sides of the front surface of the bottom plate; a mounting member inserted into the mounting recess on which an insertion recess is formed in a longitudinal direction; and a pressing pin rotatably inserted into an insertion recess and provided with a plurality of bent units formed in a middle thereof and bent at an angle. According to the present invention, the pressing pin to press a page of the book is rotatably inserted into the insertion recess formed on the mounting member mounted on the mounting recess of the bottom plate. Therefore, frequent rotation of the pressing pin does not increase an inner diameter of the mounting recess as the pressing pin does not contact the mounting recess to maintain a firm mounting state of the pressing pin. The plurality of bent units bent at the angle is formed in the middle of the pressing pin to prevent the pressing pin from separating from the bottom plate, and increases a pressing force against the page of the book. A stopping unit is bent and formed on the other end of the pressing pin to limit a movement of the pressing pin by a protrusion unit of the mounting member to prevent excessive rotation of the pressing pin to maintain a pressing force against the page of the book.</p> |
