PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with brake having a pull rotor capable of improving suction force to a movable core.SOLUTION: A motor with brake having a stator 30 to provide a revolving magnetic field, a motor rotor 40 attached to a motor shaft 50 and having magnets 42, magnetic material pieces 71 attached to the motor shaft 50 slidable in an axial direction thereof, and a holding member 72 made of a non-magnetic material holding the magnetic material pieces 71, includes a pull rotor 70 disposed opposite the stator 30, and a brake unit 60 having a movable core 61 made of a magnetic material and attached to the motor shaft 50 movably in the axial direction thereof. The magnets 42 are disposed circumferentially around the motor rotor 40, which provides circumferentially different magnetic poles alternately. The magnetic material pieces 71 are disposed so as to overlap one of the different magnetic poles adjacent to each other but not overlap the other in the axial direction of the motor shaft 50. |
