<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the degree of freedom for setting a damping force characteristic by increasing a pressing force of a pressing member for pressing a valve.SOLUTION: A hydraulic shock absorber generates a damping force by controlling an oil flow. The hydraulic shock absorber includes: an extension side flow passage 622 in which an oil flows; a first damping valve 63 for opening/closing the extension side flow passage 622 according to the oil flow; two or more of pressing members (first pressing member 77, second pressing member 78) provided in such a manner that it can be pressed in a valve closing direction of the first damping valve 63 with respect to the first damping valve 63 which is opened by the oil flow; a load member 81 in which a load is applied in a movement direction of the pressing member with respect to the pressing member; and a guide part 792 for guiding the pressing members and the load member 81 in a movable manner. Then, the pressing members come into contact with the guide part 792 substantially vertically to the movement direction of the pressing members. The load member 81 comes into contact with the guide member 792 substantially vertically to the movement direction of the load member 81. With the load from the load member 81 being applied to the two or more of pressing members simultaneously, the pressing members press the valve in the valve closing direction.</p> |
