The present invention pertains to an ink set which has good ejection stability and wetting, and with which it is possible to form images having good adhesion to base materials and good abrasion resistance, and more specifically pertains to an ink set comprising a combination of one or more water-based colored ink compositions containing a pigment, a resin fluid dispersion including a urethane resin having a plurality of carbonate groups, and a water-soluble solvent, the mass ratio (B/A) of the pigment (B) to the resin (A) being 1.0-5.0, and a water-based clear ink composition containing a resin and a water-soluble solvent but containing no coloring agent, the resin content being at least 1 mass% but less than 6 mass%, wherein the ink set is characterized in that the ratio (D/C) of the mass percentage concentration (D) of resin in the water-based colored ink composition to the mass percentage concentration (C) of resin in the water-based clear ink composition is 0.1-1.0. |
