PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component whose environmental temperature or using temperature is near a room temperature or an outside air temperature and below the operation temperature of a conventional power transformer, namely, in the range of 25-59°C, and which can reconcile reduction of power loss with high saturation magnetic flux density under an environment of high frequency and low magnetic field, and to provide a ferrite composition suitable for the electronic component.SOLUTION: This ferrite composition includes 52.5-55.5 mol% iron oxide in terms of FeO, and 6.0-19.0 mol% zinc oxide in terms of ZnO as main components, wherein the residue thereof is constituted of manganese oxide, and also includes as accessory components, with respect to 100 wt% of the main components, 50-300 ppm silicon oxide in terms of SiO, 110-1,120 ppm calcium oxide in terms of CaO, and further, the content of Pb is ≤7 ppm and the content of Cd is ≤7 ppm, with respect to 100 wt% of the main components. |
