<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion detector capable of accurately measuring a speed of a moving object to be measured even when the object is accelerated or decelerated. <P>SOLUTION: A motion detector: provides a vote value to each pixel of an image imaged by an image part 11 when a feature area of an object to be measured is present; determines that the object is decelerated when an integrated vote value increases and also determines that the object is accelerated when the integrated vote value decreases; adds a predetermined correction value to vote values of pixels corresponding to the feature area when the object is decelerated, thereby correcting the vote values to vote values reflecting an actual speed; and subtracts a predetermined correction value from the vote values of the pixels corresponding to the feature area when the object is accelerated, thereby correcting the vote values to vote values reflecting the actual speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
