<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy drawing of characters reversed in brightness to a medium which develops and erases color by heating. <P>SOLUTION: A predetermined range including at least characters and symbols desired to be drawn as white characters reversed in brightness to a thermal rewritable medium is heated to a temperature of the coloring temperature band and thereafter quenched to develop color, whereby a mask region is formed. The part of the characters and symbols to be drawn as white characters to the mask region is heated to a temperature of the erasing temperature band, and is slowly cooled. Hence the part of the characters and symbols is erased, and white characters having the part of the characters and symbols reversed in brightness are drawn to the mask region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
