Disclosed is a high speed continuous caster capable of preventing generation of a whale-backed phenomenon. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the high speed continuous caster comprises: a segment area including a plurality of segments, and wherein a slab is casted; a thickness measurement unit arranged in an outlet of the segment area, and to output a thickness signal by measuring the thickness of the slab passing through the segment area; and a control unit to adjust at least one between each of roll forces of a plurality of segments, and a casting speed in the segment area by controlling a plurality of segments depending on the thickness signal.
