PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a room temperature shrinkable tube from buckling.SOLUTION: In a diameter expansion method for room temperature shrinkable tube 80 to expand a diameter of the room temperature shrinkable tube installed to coat a connection 91 of a power cable 90 and to insert a diameter expansion member 10 having a conical surface to a center hole of the room temperature shrinkable tube to insert a diameter expansion retaining cylinder 70 to the center hole, a flexible reinforcement cylinder 60 is installed on the outer peripheral surface of the room temperature shrinkable tube and then the diameter is expanded using the diameter expansion member 10. The diameter expansion retaining cylinder is inserted to the center hole of the room temperature shrinkable tube with its diameter expanded and then the reinforcement cylinder is removed from the room temperature shrinkable tube after the diameter expansion retaining cylinder is inserted. |
