Hot gas guiding component (1) comprises an insulation (3) arranged on a component, which is added with heat reflecting and/or heat absorbing color pigments. Independent claims are also included for: (1) the insulating molded body for a hot gas guiding component of an internal combustion engine, comprising an insulating mat that is added with a binding agent and pigments; and (2) producing the insulating molded body, comprising providing a blank of a fiber mat with a binding agent added with pigments and deforming by hot pressing.
