1. A 2,8-diaminophenothiazine compound of formula (I):wherein:
(i) R1, R3, R4, R6, R7 and R9 groups each represent, independently from one another, a group selected from the group consisting of:
a hydrogen atom,a halogen,an alkyl group having from 1 to 12 unsubstituted carbon atoms, andan alkyl group having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms substituted by a phenyl group, said phenyl group being:either unsubstituted,or substituted by one or more groups selected from a halogen, a hydroxy, an alkyl having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and an alkoxy having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and (ii) R2a, R2b, R8a and R8b groups each represent, independently from one another, a group selected from the group consisting of:
an alkyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group or an alkoxyalkyl group having from 1 to 12 unsubstituted carbon atoms, andan alkyl group or an alkoxyalkyl group having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms substituted by a phenyl group, said phenyl group being:either unsubstituted,or substituted by a group selected from the group consisting of:a halogen,a hydroxy,an alkyl having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms,an alkoxy having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms,an akenyl having from 2 to 12 carbon atoms, unsubstituted or substituted by a group selected from a halogen, a hydroxy, an alkyl having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an alkoxy having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms,an alkynyl having from 2 to 12 carbon atoms, unsubstituted or substituted by a group selected from a halogen, a hydroxy, an alkyl having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an alkoxy having from to 12 carbon atoms,a cycloalkyl having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms, unsubstituted or substituted by a group selected from a halogen, a hydroxy, an alkyl having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an alkoxy having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, anda cycloalkenyl having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms, unsubstituted or substituted by a group selected from a halogen, a hydroxy, an alkyl having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an alkoxy having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, (iii) or —NR2aR2b or —NR8aR8b groups, independent from one another, represent a heterocycle having from 4 to 12 carbon atoms, either saturated or unsaturated, where said heterocycle may comprise one or more additional heteroatoms selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur, said heterocycle being unsubstituted or being substituted by a group selected from a halogen, a hydroxy and an alkyl having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms, or a salt, hydrate, solvate, or polymorphic form thereof. |
