COMBINED HYDROACOUSTIC SYSTEM FOR DETECTION OF LEAKS OF OIL PRODUCT PIPELINE

The invention relates to pipeline transport and can be used in systems of detecting leaks points of oil products in pipelines and also for detecting leaks points and depressurization locations in hard-to-reach pipeline areas. The technical result provides high sensitivity to leaks caused by unauthorized tie-ins, short time of leak detection, high accuracy of leak place (tie-ins) localization, absence of false alarms about a leak. The system of detecting leaks points in an oil product pipeline comprises a central server to monitor condition of oil product pipeline tightness joined into at least one information-computer local network with at least two units for detection of leaks on the oil product pipeline arranged along it, which are placed in appropriate at least two points of oil product pipeline tightness condition monitoring. Each unit of leak detection on an oil product pipeline comprises a controller, an analog-to-digital converter, a unit of signal filtration related to each oil product pipeline section. Each unit comprises at least one sensor of excessive pressure and at least one hydrophone arranged as capable of contact with a liquid oil product pumped along the oil product pipeline. Outlets of the at least one excessive pressure sensor and at least one hydrophone are connected via a unit of filtration of signals with an inlet of analog-to-digital converter connected by outlets with controller inlets. The controller is made as capable of connection with its outlet to at least one information-computer local network. The central server to monitor condition of oil product pipeline tightness is adapted to collect and mathematically process data, received as signals from at least two units for detection of leaks on the oil product pipeline and to take a decision about leak presence/abcence.
