Class 64(2) Apparatus for heating buildings comprises pipes 1 bent into a series of hairpin loops and suported by cross bars 2 which are in turn supported on bearers 5 by means of brackets 4, the complete assembly being housed in a hollow ceiling or beneath the roof of a building. A sheet of insulating material 12 is placed between the cross bars and the floor 10 above. The ceiling 15 below the pipes may be supported by means of firring channels 14, or may comprise plasterboard tiles supported from the bearers 5 by means of hangers. |
