<p>A magazine assembly for a fastener driving tool having a nosepiece defining a fastener passageway. The magazine assembly includes an inner mobile member (38), at least partially defining at least first and second chambers (40, 42) for receiving fasteners, and an outer stationary member (22), at least partially surrounding the inner mobile member and engageable relative to the nosepiece. The inner mobile member (38) is movable relative to the outer stationary member in a direction transverse to fastener travel in the magazine assembly. The outer stationary member may contain an inner stationary member (26) which comprises a fastener track (30), which is aligned with the fastener passageway of the nose piece. Transverse movement of the inner mobile member allows for either the first or second chamber to align with the fastener track, allowing the fasteners to be moved from the chamber, into the fastener track. Transverse movement of the inner mobile member may be urged by an actuator controlled by a translational lever (52). The actuator may comprise a cam rod (54), rigidly connected to the translational lever, comprising at least one cam (56).</p> |
