The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display device of the present invention comprises: a memory storing reference data to decide the level of common voltage supplied to a liquid crystal panel if the temperature is the room temperature; a temperature compensation unit sensing the surrounding temperature using a thermistor in which a resistance value is changed according to the temperature, and lowering a gate high signal of gate pulse supplied to the liquid crystal panel at lower temperature; and a common voltage generation unit detecting a compensation value proportional to the voltage level of the thermistor, and generating compensated common voltage data by reducing the compensation value from the reference data, wherein the compensation value has a bigger value at lower temperature. |
