<p>Method(s) and system(s) for establishing a call between a caller and a receiver in a communication network are disclosed. The method may include generating, by a communication system (112), a call request for being sent to the receiver for joining a video call as an audio participant. The call request is generated when a video call request initiated by the caller is rejected by the receiver. Further, the method may include performing, by the communication system (112), media negotiations with the caller and the receiver upon receiving acceptance of the call request. The method may also include assigning, by the communication system (112), a call address for establishing the video call, upon successful media negotiations between the caller and the receiver.</p> |
