PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin component for battery terminal which allows for reduction of a load applied to a battery post, in a state where a battery terminal is assembled to the battery post, and to provide a battery terminal unit. ! SOLUTION: A battery terminal unit 10 includes a resin component 1 for battery terminal, and a battery terminal 2. The resin component 1 for battery terminal is assembled to the battery terminal 2 having a connection 41 that is connected with a wire on the body side where a battery 4 is mounted. The resin component 1 for battery terminal includes a support member 15 for supporting the connection 41 on a surface 4a of the battery 4, and arranged in a gap between the connection 41 of the battery terminal 2 and the surface 4a of the battery 4, in a state where the battery terminal 2 is attached to a battery post 3 standing on the battery 4. !
