Provided is a slide fastener in which continuous element rows are easily engaged with and disengaged from each other by a vertically engaging slider. The slide fastener is characterized in that: the elements (301, 302) of the slide fastener (1) respectively have base sections (301c, 302c) affixed to fastener tapes (21, 22), and also respectively have head sections (301a, 302a) protruding from the base sections (301c, 302c) and engaging with the facing elements (301, 302); the head sections (301a, 302a) of the elements (301, 302) have first head sections (311a, 312a) arranged on the upper surface (21a, 22a) side, and also have second head sections (321a, 322a) arranged on the lower surface (21b, 22b) side of the fastener tapes (21, 22); and the first head sections (311a, 312a) are formed offset in the first direction relative to the second head sections (321a, 322a). |
