ARRANGEMENT FOR ATTACHING AN ELONGATED SIDE UNIT TO A VEHICLE

An arrangement for fastening an elongate side unit to a vehicle. The arrangement comprises a first clamping device intended to be fastened to the vehicle and a first profile element intended to protrude from the elongate side unit. The first clamping device comprises first and second contact elements separated from one another along a z-axis in the first clamping device, thereby creating between the contact elements a space for accommodating the first profile element. The arrangement further comprises a second clamping device intended to be fastened to the vehicle and a second profile element intended to protrude from the side unit. The second clamping device may fasten the second profile element to the second clamping device and thus put the side unit into a clamped state in which the first profile element is inserted in the space between the contact elements and exerts load upon the two contact elements in the first clamping device so that the first profile element is clamped between the contact elements.
