The present invention improves system performance for mobile communication (i.e., group mobility) at a plurality of terminals present in the same mobile body. A wireless base station for forming a cell in the movement path of a mobile body and communicating, by using beam-forming, with a mobile station provided in the mobile body, wherein the wireless base station is provided with: a transmission unit for transmitting, to at least an edge area of the cell formed in the movement path of the mobile body, a plurality of capturing signals for each of which a different beam-forming weight is applied; and a control unit for controlling, on the basis of information notified from a mobile station having received the capturing signal, the beam-forming weight applied for a data signal transmitted to the mobile station.
