The decorating device (6) comprises at least one light source (12) that emits directional light, a diffusing part (11a) with a diffuse reflecting surface that diffusely reflects the light from the light source (12), and a light guide part (13) disposed at the perimeter of the diffusing part in front of the diffuse reflecting surface. The light guide part (13) comprises at least one entry face (13a) that faces the respective at least one light source (12) and an end face (13d) facing the diffusing part of the light guide part (13). Propagating light from the light source (12) entering via the entry face (13a) so that it spreads inside the light guide part (13) emits the light from the light source (12) toward the diffuse reflecting surface (11a) from a broader range of the end face (13d) than does the entry face (13a).
