PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face image processing device capable of appropriately detecting a face constitution part, a projection system, an image processing method, and a program. ! SOLUTION: An image processing device 1 comprises: a face constitution part detection unit 105c for detecting a face constitution part which constitutes a face, from an acquired face image; an outline state detection unit 105d for detecting a change of a pixel value of an outline of a detection area corresponding to the detected face constitution part; an outline displacement unit 105e for displacing an outline of the detection area on the basis of a result of detecting the change of the pixel value of the outline of the detection area; and a projection device 3 for projecting a face constitution part image on which displacement processing is performed, on a screen. !
