PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a rotor for a rotary electric machine and a manufacturing method of the same, capable of reducing work man-hour when joining a rotor core and an end plate to a shaft body by welding. ! SOLUTION: The rotor for rotary electric machine has a configuration in which an end plate penetrates in a shaft direction and includes an opening part that opens at an inner peripheral surface of the plate, the inner peripheral surface of the plate and an outer peripheral surface of a shaft body are joined by welding, and an inner peripheral surface of a core and the outer peripheral surface of the shaft body are joined by welding at a position of being overlapped with the opening part viewed from the shaft direction. !
