<p>The present invention relates to a system and method for remote administration of an electronic device. The system includes a server device to be controlled, a client device for controlling the server device, a client program installed on the client, and a server program which is installed on the server for automatically establishing a secure communication tunnel between the devices so that the controller can be used to effect physical changes on the server. The client and server programs use a unique identifier or key that includes data for locating that specific client, permitting creation of the communication tunnel only with that client device.</p> |
