PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high capacity power storage device, a power storage device excellent in cycle characteristics, a power storage device having high charge and discharge efficiency, or a power storage device using a low resistance negative electrode.SOLUTION: The negative electrode for a power storage device includes: a collector; and an active material layer on the collector having a plurality of granular active materials. The granular active materials are silicon. The grain size of silicon is equal to or more than 0.001 μm and equal to or less than 7 μm.
