PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifuge which has a light emission part for serving as guide when a user fits a rotor thereto, and displaying an operation state on a housing. ! SOLUTION: A centrifuge 1 has an opening 11a for attachment and detachment of a rotor on a top surface of a housing, and a belt-shaped light emission part 40 on a front side of the opening 11a of a top surface of a housing (10, 11) and on a ridge line part where the top surface of the housing and a front surface of the housing cross each other. Length of the light emission part 40 in a lateral direction is larger than diameter of the opening 11a, and positions of lateral centers of the opening 11a and the light emission part 40 match. The light emission part 40 lights on so that a light color, a lighting pattern, and brightness are different according to an operation state of the centrifuge, so that a user separated from the centrifuge can easily recognize the operation state and error occurrence. !
