<p>This heat engine constitutes a closed cycle for a working medium to circulate therein. A piston (12) divides an enclosed space in a casing (11) into multiple enclosed subspaces (15, 16) by sliding while remaining in contact with the inner wall of a casing (11). The enclosed subspaces (15, 16) expand and contract repeatedly with the movement of the piston (12). A gaseous working medium is supplied into the enclosed subspace that is to be expanded with the movement of the piston (12), increasing the internal pressure of the expanding enclosed subspace such that the piston (12) is driven by the gaseous working medium. A working medium in a super-cooled liquid state is supplied into the enclosed subspace that is to be contracted with the movement of the piston (12), expediting condensation of a working medium in the contracting enclosed subspace and causing the pressure of the working medium in the contracting enclosed subspace to decrease such that the movement of the piston (12) is facilitated.</p> |
