<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil passage structure of an internal combustion engine in which rigidity improvement at a drive end side in a camshaft, adequecy of a lubrication route, and the like are achieved. <P>SOLUTION: In a first cam holder 11, a first lubricating oil supply passage 61 is formed in which lubricating oil from a non-illustrated oil main gallery flows in from a top face of a cylinder head 3. At a right end side of a connection cam cap 25, a communication oil passage 51 is formed which is connected to the first lubricating oil supply passage 61. In a second cam holder 12, a second lubricating oil supply passage 71 is formed which is connected to the communication oil passage 51. The lubricating oil flowing into the first lubricating oil supply passage 61 is supplied partially from a journal supply side oil passage 61c to an arcuate groove 62 of an exhaust side journal support plane 11b. Most of the lubricating oil flowing into the first lubricating oil supply passage 61 flows through the communication oil passage 51 into the second lubricating oil supply passage 71 of the second cam holder 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
