A sports net apparatus comprises a first rectangular pop-up net frame 170 for supporting a net 172 and at least a second frame 174a-c. The apparatus is operable in a first in use mode, wherein the rectangular net frame 170 is supported by means of the at least second frame 174a-c to provide a generally upright net for net-based games; and a second storage mode, wherein the net frame is twisted and folded to provide a substantially flat storage configuration. The present invention seeks to provide a pop-up games net to enable a game where a rectangular net is required for the playing of games, which net can be quickly and easily erected before play and which net can be quickly and easily collapsed after play without the need for assembly or disassembly. |
