The invention relates to a technique for forwarding data packets along a TCP connection (100). A method aspect comprises receiving a data packet including a TCP sequence number; storing the sequence number and determining a Round Trip Time (RTT)for the received data packet; comparing, in case a further packet is received within the RTT, a sequence number of the further packet with the stored sequence number, and selectively dropping the further packet in case of the compared sequence numbers matching. |
