The present invention relates to a lubricant pump (100) comprising a housing (102) including a reservoir (108) for lubricant, a pump unit, and, particularly, pump housing sections (104, 106) surrounding a piston pump apparatus (1). In this case, the pump unit is designed to transfer lubricant from the reservoir (108) to lubricant discharging parts (52, 62, 64) arranged in the housing (102). The reservoir (108) includes a lubricant inlet (112), and a lubricant discharge location connected with the pump unit. The lubricant inlet (112) is arranged on the upper surface of the reservoir (108) and covered by a cover (114). The cover (114) for covering the lubricant inlet (112) is arranged to be rotated in the front surface of the reservoir (108). A lubricant charge level sensor (68) is provided for the lubricant pump. The sensor is fixed to the pump unit by a supporting member (66) and protrudes from there inside the reservoir (108). |
