<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a database reorganization method allowing reliable reorganization of a database while reducing an interference with database access by an application program. <P>SOLUTION: In a database device 10, a page number storage part stores a number of a page including update data every time an access part 100 updates data of an original database. If the number of page numbers stored in the page number storage part is larger than a threshold, an initial re-copy part 32 does not obtain an exclusion lock of the original database and re-copies the page the number of which is stored in the page number storage part, from the original database to a copy database. If the number of page numbers stored in the page number storage part is equal to or less than the threshold, a final re-copy part 33 obtains the exclusion lock of the original database, re-copies the page the number of which is stored in the page number storage part, and synchronizes the original database with the copy database generated by a provisional copy part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
